Medium-bodied and brightly lit, the palate is full of black currant and black cherry fruit, subtle spice and incredibly long with layers of fine grained, powdery tannin. An exceptionally balanced wine, it is enjoyable now with a decant and will cellar well into the future for additional complexity.
 
"What a gorgeous, seamless offering, balancing a certain complexity. It’ll age well, yet it's delicious to drink today. There's beautiful fruit at its core in just-ripe mulberries and blackberries, with a dash of crème de cassis and warm spices. It verges on fuller-bodied. The tannins, while textural and plentiful, are also superfine – like velvet. Pops of sweet fruit and dried herbs come through with a long and persuasive finish."
