For me, a wine with as much stylistically/drinkability as the medium bodied reds of Chianti Classico and the like. Pure fruit, unencumbered by oak, yet still nicely structured and savoury. An anytime Claret.
 
Dark garnet with classic aromas of cassis, blackberry, cherry, pencil lead and a subtle sage herbal top note. The deep and fleshy fruit is balanced by a line of fine, refreshing acid, and savoury, grainy tannins. Medium bodied and eminently drinkable (especially with a light chill), some cellaring will also be rewarded.
